We have ten tennis courts. Seven courts are artificial grass and three are macadam. Five of the artificial grass courts are floodlit.

As you might have seen from our welcome page, the Club’s setting is magnificent and provides a great backdrop for playing all standards of tennis. The grounds surrounding the courts are kept to a high standard and provide idea space for watching others play or just for relaxing.

An important element of being a members club is Club Play, where members of all standards come and mix. Club Play is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

For those who enjoy more competitive play, the Club has six men’s and five ladies teams in the Avon Summer leagues, two open and two veteran mixed teams in the Avon Winter leagues and two men’s and one ladies team in the National Club League.

Our annual Club tournament is held in September with events for men, ladies, veterans and juniors.

We have an extensive coaching programme for all ages and standards, with three resident coaches. Lansdown is recognised as a Performance coaching club by the Lawn Tennis Association.
