There’s just a month to go till the Winter League season ends and both our teams are currently top of their respective divisions.

The 1st team currently lead Division 1 but will need to get maximum points from their remaining 2 matches, and hope other results go their way, to have any chance of finishing as champions.

Our 2nd team have a narrow lead in Div 2A but the 2 teams just behind them (Kings and Portishead) have plenty of games in hand in which to overtake them. Nevertheless, as a newly promoted team the 2nds have competed well at the higher level.

In the Seniors League our team lie 2nd in Div 2 behind runaway leaders Bishop Sutton. However, with fixtures coming up against our nearest challengers for the second promotion spot (Knowle and David Lloyd Westbury) there will be some keenly contested last few matches.

The next home matches are on Sunday, 5th March.

The Club Charter is a progressive club development programme that aims to increase the number of adults and juniors playing squash and Racketball in clubs, increase the recruitment, education and development of coaches and volunteers, and improve the infrastructure of our club network.  The Club Charter is linked to Sport England’s Clubmark award.  Put simply, by achieving Club Charter status, we have shown our commitment to offer a welcoming environment, set high standards in child protection, and work closely with local schools to develop the future generations of squash and Racketball players.
