AGE GROUPS 35+, 40+, 50+,60+, 65+, 70+  and 75+ (Ladies)

For many years Avon County has had success in all ages and they are fortunate to benefit from players moving this way from other counties as well as our home grown talent.

A very small group of volunteers run these County teams to the best of their ability, however they are always looking to improve. For that reason, if you are interested in taking the next step into county play they would like to hear from you.

If you consider you are of the required standard and could commit to play in the Summer 2017 Inter County matches then please email Debbie Curtis at (If you are not sure if you are of the required standard, please speak to one of the tennis committee). They need your name, date of birth and details will then be passed to the relevant age group County Captain for consideration. Captains are already in the process of selecting their teams so please respond quickly should you wish to be considered for this year’s county teams

Match format – From April to August the matches are both singles and doubles, and we need strong players from each to ensure success. They are played home and away, and sometimes some distance requiring an overnight stay, which will be funded by Avon LTA, you will also get help with expenses.

Good Luck!

The Club Charter is a progressive club development programme that aims to increase the number of adults and juniors playing squash and Racketball in clubs, increase the recruitment, education and development of coaches and volunteers, and improve the infrastructure of our club network.  The Club Charter is linked to Sport England’s Clubmark award.  Put simply, by achieving Club Charter status, we have shown our commitment to offer a welcoming environment, set high standards in child protection, and work closely with local schools to develop the future generations of squash and Racketball players.
