Wimbledon Ballot Draw – April 22nd

This year’s Wimbledon Ballot will be held on April 22nd!  We’re holding a tennis social/tournament with a theme of ‘All Whites’ (ancient or modern) or you can dress as your favourite Wimbledon champion.  Prizes for the best dressed! Tennis will finish with tea and cake followed by the draw.

If you’re able to bring a cake that would be much appreciated.  Best decorated tennis themed cake will also win a prize

Do come and support the event – even if you are not playing tennis – and then enjoy some tea, coffee and cake whilst the draw is being held.

There is a small charge of £2 for the tennis tournament which starts at 2.00 pm.  We anticipate that this will finish at 4.30 pm with the draw taking place at approximately 5.15 pm.

Please sign up if you’re interested in playing and for more details contact Philip in the office or Daureen Croucher (

The Club Charter is a progressive club development programme that aims to increase the number of adults and juniors playing squash and Racketball in clubs, increase the recruitment, education and development of coaches and volunteers, and improve the infrastructure of our club network.  The Club Charter is linked to Sport England’s Clubmark award.  Put simply, by achieving Club Charter status, we have shown our commitment to offer a welcoming environment, set high standards in child protection, and work closely with local schools to develop the future generations of squash and Racketball players.
