Membership Fees

We have a range of Annual Memberships on offer which are intended to attract players of all types and standards.  With the exception of Croquet and Social membership, all adult memberships allow members to play any of the club sports.

Once you have completed an application form or if you are renewing your membership for 1st May, then payment of your membership fee can be made by debit/credit card in person or over telephone, or by Direct Debit, cash or cheque.  If you will be paying by direct debit, you will be required to make an initial payment of up to two months.

To pay via Direct Debit

We will require an initial payment before setting up your direct debit. The initial payment (calculated by the office) will cover up to two months payments depending on the date you join. Your direct debit can then be set up to take payment on a monthly basis.

Please complete the DD mandate HERE and return the signed hard copy original form with your application.  The reference field of the form must be left blank for office use. There is a secure mailbox outside of the Club if the office is not open when you visit.

Notes on Membership Packages:

• Membership runs annually from 1st May each year.  If you are joining part way through the membership year, a pro-rata fee will be calculated.
• We do not offer pay and play or monthly membership, however a Direct Debit monthly instalment payment option is available for most of our annual memberships.  Monthly instalments must continue throughout the year for your annual membership to be valid.
• Discounts are available for couples within the same household, i.e. where both full adult members are living at the same address.
• Where a household includes children under 18 years of age, they are eligible for free membership after paying a small joining fee. The membership is linked to their parent/carer’s membership and only remains free of charge and activated whilst the linked adult is a paid-up member. There are a range of child memberships. • Where a membership has lapsed for a period of 3 months or more, a new joining fee will be payable.
• The club is open seven days a week, 362 days a year (closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day).  The available playing times for each club sport can be seen on the overview pages for Tennis, Squash/Racketball and Croquet.
• There are no additional court booking fees however court booking limits are applied in order to provide fair availability to all members – details can be found on the Tennis and Squash/Racketball pages.
• Tennis court floodlights are not included in membership.  Floodlighting is provided free-of-charge for some club Tennis activities.  Please use the token meter in the back corridor of the clubhouse, where tokens can be purchased from the bar at £1 per token. This provides 30 mins of light for one court.
• Squash court lighting is provided without additional charge.
• The Social membership includes a Clubcard for members and allows a discounted rate in the clubroom/bar (as with full memberships) plus access to Fitness Classes (separate fee payable) & Pickleball Taster sessions but does not include a login to the Members App/website
