Membership Fees

We have a range of Annual Memberships on offer which are intended to attract players of all types and standards.  With the exception of Croquet and Associate membership, all adult memberships allow members to play any of the club sports.

There is more information on our membership packages below.  To apply for membership please register on our Manage our Club system and submit an enquiry.

Once you have submitted an enquiry form and are ready to sign up, or if you are renewing your membership, then payment of your membership fee can be made by Direct Debit online via GoCardless. You’ll have the option to pay your direct debit either annually or monthly (flex). Please find the Terms & Conditions for these two payment options by clicking here.

Notes on Membership Packages:

• – A discount on Rackets membership is available for couples within the same household, i.e. where both full adult members are living at the same address.  Juniors linked to an adult member are eligible for a reduced rate membership without court booking rights
• – The club is open seven days a week, 362 days a year (closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day).  The available playing times for each club sport can be seen on the overview pages for Tennis, Squash/Racketball and Croquet
• – There are no additional court booking fees however court booking limits are applied in order to provide fair availability to all members – details can be found on the Tennis and Squash/Racketball pages
• – Tennis court floodlights are not included in membership.  Please use the token meter in the back corridor of the clubhouse, where tokens can be purchased from the bar at £1 per token – this provides 30 mins of light for one court. Floodlighting is provided free-of-charge for some club Tennis activities
• – Squash court lighting is provided without additional charge
• – The Associate (Social) membership includes a Virtual Wallet for members and allows a discounted rate in the clubroom/bar (as with full memberships) plus access to Fitness Classes (separate fee payable)
• – All club memberships, including Associate and Croquet, include free access to Sunday Pickleball sessions

Lansdown Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). We welcome members from the whole community without discrimination. The CASC reduced fee (£420 plus joining fee) is only available to those on low or modest incomes. If you feel you cannot afford to pay due to a low or modest income you may apply to the Club Manager for this membership. Applicants will be asked to complete a comprehensive application and to provide supporting evidence of income status upon application. This reduced membership fee is subject to HMRC rules for CASCs.
